Spyget > Trespassing Spyware Varmints Called to Court
[ReveNews - Brook Schaaf, Online Revenue News & Opinions Since 1998] Shawn Collins, Chicago Lawyer, (Not Affiliate Summit Shawn) recently sued eBates.com for "trespassing." (Free subscription required.) He apparently does environmental legislation and is using environmental laws in cyberspace. He says "I look at spyware companies as industrial polluters." From my perspective, it's good to see legal action taken against drive-by-downloads and impossible uninstalls.
